Musheer Khan scored a brilliant unbeaten century in Duleep Trophy 2024 as India B crossed the 200-run mark on Day one.

The Duleep Trophy 2024 kicked off on September 5 with India B taking on India A at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Batting first, India B lost their top order for just 67 runs as national team stars like Yashasvi Jaiswal and Sarfaraz Khan failing to score big.

The team was eventually down by 7 wickets for just 94 runs and were staring at an agonisingly low score in the first innings. However, Sarfaraz's younger brother Musheer Khan played an unbelievable knock to make sure India B crossed the 200-run mark at the end of Day 1. 

The youngster hit an unbeaten 105 runs from 227 deliveries and was ably supported by tailender Navdeep Saini who played a crucial knock of 29 runs off 74 balls.

Is Musheer Khan a future India star?

The 19-year-old has consistently performed in domestic cricket in the past 12 months and he continued his form in Duleep Trophy as well.

Fans were elated to see such maturity from a teenager as he played a brilliant knock under pressure. Users on social media hailed the batsman and predicted he would knock on the door of the Indian cricket team.
