England and Australia will be locking horns in the third and final T20I of the ongoing series in Manchester and the winner of the game on Sunday, September 15 will be taking the bragging rights, heading into the ODIs.

England, after losing the first match of the series by 28 runs in Southampton came to Cardiff on Friday to turn things around and level the series 1-1.

After being put into bat, Jake Fraser-McGurk scored his maiden fifty in internationals off 29 balls. Josh Inglis' 42(26) before Aaron Hardie's 20*(9) helped Australia post a total of 193 on the board with the loss of 6 wickets.

Liam Livingstone was the pick of the bowlers with 2/18 in his 3 overs before he went on a rampage with the bat, scoring a match-winning 87(47). Captain Phil Salt added 39(23) and Jacob Bethell, who in his second outing went all guns blazing against Adam Zampa as he scored an impactful knock of 44(24).

Matthew Short became the fifth players in Australia's T20I history to pick up a five-wicket haul, with 5/22, however, England had the last laugh in the end as they won the game by 3 wickets.

In team news, after Xavier Bartlett suffered a side strain in the first T20I, he will be replaced by Ben Dwarshuis in the final T20I's squad. Additionally, Josh Hazelwood and Jofra Archer could be returning from their rests in the second T20I.

Having tied the series 1-1 at Cardiff, England will be confident heading into the final and deciding match of the series at Manchester. 

On the other hand, Australia who lost Xavier Bartlett to injury will hope to either directly include his replacement Ben Dwarshius in the playing XI to solve their new ball woes or back all-rounder Aaron Hardie once again.

So far, Australia have looked like the stronger side overall and will be the favourites to clinch the T20I series.
