How did Manav Suthar turn the game for India C?

Manav Suthar’s brilliant five-wicket haul stole the show as India C and India D’s match remained finely balanced.

The day began with India C trailing India D’s first-innings score by 77 runs at 91/4. Harshit Rana continued his fine form by taking two early wickets, leaving India C at a precarious 108/8.

However, Baba Indrajith provided stability, contributing 72 valuable runs, and along with Anshul Kamboj’s defensive support, ensured that India C took a slender four-run lead.

India D responded aggressively in their second innings, with Shreyas Iyer and Devdutt Padikkal leading the charge. Iyer’s 39-ball half-century and Padikkal’s steady fifty helped India D push ahead.

But Manav Suthar stepped in to change the game once more. His crucial wickets, including those of Padikkal and Ricky Bhui, saw India D collapse, leaving them eight down with a 202-run lead at stumps.

How are KL Rahul and Riyan Parag holding India A firm?

In Bengaluru, Musheer Khan and Navdeep Saini led India B’s remarkable comeback against India A. Starting the second day, India B's overnight pair continued to frustrate the opposition.

Musheer, in particular, stood tall with a stunning 181, displaying a mix of aggressive stroke play and resilience. His partnership with Saini, who contributed 56, helped India B recover from a dire 94/7 to post a competitive total of 321.

India A’s response was initially solid, with Shubman Gill and Mayank Agarwal putting up a fifty-run stand. But Navdeep Saini’s brilliance with the ball saw him dismiss both openers in quick succession, derailing India A's progress.

Despite these setbacks, KL Rahul and Riyan Parag held firm, building an unbeaten 67-run stand to stabilize their side. Rahul’s experience and Parag’s aggression helped India A reach 120/2 at the end of the second day, still trailing but with hopes of turning the game around.
