The Delhi Premier League (DPL) is set to kick-off on Saturday, August 17 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. The tournament's inaugural edition will see many familiar players from the Indian Premier League (IPL).

The tournament will last over three weeks with the final scheduled on September 8. The tournament will witness six teams participating in the men’s edition while four teams will be playing in the women’s edition parallelly. 

DPL 2024 serves as a great opportunity for youngsters to showcase their skills and make a case for themselves to make a place in the Indian team. 

What are the teams in DPL 2024?

A total of six teams in the men’s edition and four in the women’s edition will be competing in the inaugural edition of the DPL. The competition will comprise of 40 matches overall, 33 in the men’s category and 7 in the women’s. 

Men’s edition: South Delhi Superstarz, Purani Dilli 6, Central Delhi Kings, North Delhi Strikers, West Delhi Lions, and East Delhi Riders

Women’s edition: South Delhi Superstars, Central Delhi Queens, North Delhi Strikers, and East Delhi Riders.

How to watch DPL 2024 in India?

Fans in India can catch all the live action from the inaugural edition of the Delhi Premier League on the Sports 18 network. Live streaming for the same will be available on the JioCinema app and website.
