Due to his versatile and impressive performance with SRH, Reddy ended up as the most expensive player in the Andhra Premier League (APL) auction in history. The 20-year-old was picked up by the Godavari Titans for the upcoming season of the APL.

Despite such achievements at a young age, Reddy has managed to make the headlines after making a rather controversial statement on former skipper of the Indian and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) team, MS Dhoni.

Reddy’s controversial remark on Dhoni

Talking on a certain podcast, Reddy made a rather controversial comparison between RCB talisman Virat Kohli and CSK legend Dhoni, questioning the veteran keeper’s technique, stating that it is not at the level of Kohli despite his legacy as a power-hitter.

Dhoni doesn't have talent, I mean talent is there , but technique is not there not on Kohli's level

Although the statement doesn’t really shout disrespect towards Dhoni, the youngster could face heat from Dhoni fans on the internet, especially considering the crazy fan following that the 42-year-old has.
