The Champions One Day Cup, the premier 50-over tournament of Pakistan's domestic cricket will kick-start from Thursday, September 12 and will be played till the 29th of this month.

The PCB, in preparation for the Champions Trophy 2025 has announced that all the best talent from the country will be playing in the tournament to make their case and make it to the ODI squad ahead of the mega event that will be the first time they host a major event since the World Cup in 1996.
The tournament will be played in the round-robin format followed by a Qualifier and two eliminators before the Final.

The Champions One Day Cup 2024 will be played among the five teams:
- Dolphins
- Lions
- Panthers
- Stallions
- Markhors
What is the format of the Champions One-Day Cup 2024?
The tournament will be played in the round-robin format where each team will play the rest of the four teams once in the league stage followed by a Qualifier where the top 2 teams on the points table will face-off for a spot in the final.
After the Qualifier, the third and fourth-ranked teams will play each other in Eliminator 1 and the winner of this match will play the loser of the Qualifier in Eliminator 2.
The winner of the Eliminator 2 will then take the second spot in the final to play the winner of the Qualifier.

What time will the matches start in the Champions One-Day Cup 2024?
All the matches in the tournament will start at 15.30 (IST) except Match 5 between the Lions and Panthers which will be a day game, starting at 10.00 (IST).
