CEAT, India's leading tyre manufacturer, organised the annual CEAT Cricket Rating (CCR) Awards for 2024 on Wednesday, August 21, 2024. The award function brings together players of the cricket fraternity, both men and women.

2024 is the 26th edition of the CCR Awards, and it is a premium standard of rating and evaluating cricketing performances throughout the season. The players are recognised on the basis of their displays in games spanning from June 2023 to May 2024. 

The awards were first handed out in 1995-96 season, with West Indian batter Brian Lara winning the  Player of the Year award. The current recipient of the CEAT Awards POTY is Indian youngster Shubman Gill.

Virat Kohli has won the most POTY Awards at the CEAT CCR, for a record four times. Sri Lanka's Muttiah Muralitharan has won the award on three occasions.
