Pakistan were white-washed 2-0 at home by continental rivals Bangladesh in the recent Test series. They failed to win a single match in the two-match series, dropping down to eighth in the recent World Test Championship (WTC) 2023-25 rankings.

The consecutive losses has led Pakistan to go winless in Tests at home since August 2021. The last time they won a red-ball game on home soil was against South Africa (2-0 win) in the 2020-21 season.

Following the ridiculous defeat against Bangladesh in Rawalpindi, former World Cup-winning captain and Prime Minister, Imran Khan did not hold back while criticising the Pakistan Cricket Board.

What did Imran Khan say about Mohsin Naqvi after Test series loss to Bangladesh?

Imran Khan blasted PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi for the Test series loss against Bangladesh. This was not only the first time that Pakistan lost a Test to Bangladesh at home, but their first-ever loss in the format.

Speaking to reporters, Khan said, "Pakistan Cricket Team suffered the biggest disaster in history. Bangladesh has humiliated us. This is the lowest point in Pakistan Cricket. The world is laughing on our cricket but nobody dares to question Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi."

What next for the Pakistan cricket team?

Shan Masood & Co. are set for yet another stern test at home, as the mighty England visit Pakistan for a three-match Test tour. The tour is scheduled as a part of the World Test Championship (2023-25).

The first match will be held in Multan from October 07 to October 11, 2024. Pakistan are currently placed eighth on the latest WTC rankings, and the three home Tests would decide their fate in the ongoing campaign.
