King Kenny and AnEsonGib secured convincing points wins to reach the finals of Kingpyn's High Stakes tournament in front of a boisterous crowd at the Three Arena in Dublin.

British YouTuber King Kenny - real name Kenny Ojuederie - outclassed Whindersson Nunes, flooring the Brazilian with a left hook in the second round in front of a large but increasingly muted section of fans from his opponent's homeland, where Nunes is hugely popular.

Saudi Arabian-born British YouTuber AnEsonGib, also known as Ali Loui Al-Fakri, won almost as comfortably in the co-headline event, beating Jarvis Khattri over five rounds to set up a decider with King Kenny on a date the influencer boxing promotion hopes to announce soon.

"We put so much into this camp," said King Kenny, whose jab, head movement and ringcraft were impressively slick by the standards of the rookie boxers involved in the series, which began with quarterfinals at London's Wembley Arena in April.

"Thanks to Whindersson for giving me this opportunity – he's a hell of a fighter. I landed my jab so easily and cleanly from round one.

"I was able to work everything off that. It wasn't easy because he kept coming forward. He's like the terminator – he kept eating my punches."

Another Brazilian on the card had a more successful evening as Jully Poca used her superior height and reach to leave a game Elle Brooke bloodied and shorn of her perfect three-fight boxing record, earning Poca a place in the women's final via unanimous decision.

Poca will face 6AR6IE6 - Avery Pongracz - who beat Brooke's sister, Emily, by the same outcome after also asserting her physical advantages.

Celebrities roll with the punches

On another eventful night of social media stars and fighters from different disciplines stepping into the ring, all but one of the 10 bouts between budding boxers went to the scorecards, although few were particularly close.

Cian Cowley, who has been training at Conor McGregor's former haunt of Crumlin Boxing Club, thanked the two-time UFC champion for sponsoring him after winning on home turf with an impressive victory over Connor Tierney in an early wildcard bout.

Another MMA fighter, Kiefer Crosbie, secured a result that could be considered something of an upset by beating reality TV star Aaron Chalmers, knocking down the Newcastle fighter who took boxing legend Floyd Mayweather the distance in a curious exhibition bout in February.

Elle Brooke had been heralded as the best pound-for-pound influencer women's boxer upon climbing through the ropes, but the Surrey model's bravery could not make up for her inability to throw within range of Poca.

Several of the fighters on the bill are likely to appear again in the loser bracket of the finals, as well as other celebrities who will be accommodated as wildcard entries.

Articulating the constant search for competitors with ticket-selling appeal, Crosbie wasted no time in calling out Tommy Fury, the professional boxer and half-brother of world champion Tyson Fury with a win to his name against one of the poster figures for crossover events, Jake Paul.

MTV Millennials Award winner Nunes' appeal means he is perhaps entitled to look beyond fighting, and the 28-year-old said he hopes to perform on stage at the Three Arena in future.

"This was one of the happiest nights of my life," reflected the man with more than 58 million Instagram followers. "I loved this, it was so cool. All the Brazilian fans made it so much better."

The Sporting News had live updates throughout the evening.

Kingpyn Boxing: King Kenny vs. Whindersson Nunes results, highlights

Round 5: King Kenny vs. Whindersson Nunes

It's all so easy for King Kenny, who's in the pocket and pins Whindersson Nunes in a corner, rattling in spiteful uppercuts and sapping combinations in between pulling faces on the shoulder of his embattled opponent, such is the straightforwardness of this for him.

It's a masterclass in influencer boxing terms. Credit to Nunes, who keeps going until the end and shows his durability but has been comfortably beaten and is offering little back.

Now for the scorecards... King Kenny wins 50-44, 50-44, 50-44! And then dances with Nunes in the ring, who has to check whether his nose is bleeding less profusely when he breaks off from partnering his tormentor.

TSN unofficial scorecard: King Kenny 10-9 Whindersson Nunes (50-44)

Round 4: King Kenny vs. Whindersson Nunes

Whindersson Nunes has to throw the kitchen sink at this and make the night harder for King Kenny if he's to pull off an upset here.

His nose is red but he keeps coming forward, his guard split as he tries a southpaw stance. A left hook works, only for Kenny to club in a combination and rattle off a few jabs as if testing a punchbag.

Bellini's Samba de Janeiro rings out but it's not been a good night for the Brazilian fighter or his loud fans in this arena so far.

TSN unofficial scorecard: King Kenny 10-9 Whindersson Nunes (40-35)

Round 3: King Kenny vs. Whindersson Nunes

There's little more need for exertion from King Kenny – and little more given. Whindersson Nunes tries to charge in and tumbles to the canvas, but it's not a knockdown.

King Kenny bobs and weaves with similar shoulderwork to the rolling that landed him the knockdown. A right uppercut is better from Nunes but he's eating shots every time he comes forward and he can't get within range to any great effect, Kenny having the longer reach.

TSN unofficial scorecard: King Kenny 10-9 Whindersson Nunes (30-26)

Round 2: King Kenny vs. Whindersson Nunes

More crowd-pleasing from King Kenny, who stands in the centre of the ring before Whindersson Nunes has emerged from his corner for the second round.

Kenny toys with Nunes, then smacks him to the floor with a wallop of a left hook! Credit to Nunes, though, who isn't down for long and fires in a useful right of his own about a minute later.

The Brazilian almost looks awakened by going down, going on the attack at the close of the round. Kenny barely looks like he's raised his heart rate as the pair touch gloves after the bell.

TSN unofficial scorecard: King Kenny 10-8 Whindersson Nunes (20-17)

Round 1: King Kenny vs. Whindersson Nunes

Good early work by King Kenny, who succeeds with his jab, rolls his hands, beckons Whindersson Nunes on and gees up the singing crowd.

He might look a bit silly if this showboating turns sour, but he leans across the ropes, evades Nunes' attempts to trouble him with some neat head movement, then sends in an uppercut and a left hook. He's looking loose.

TSN unofficial scorecard: King Kenny 10-9 Whindersson Nunes (10-9)

11 p.m. BST: Even by the standards of influencers, Whindersson Nunes makes a memorable entrance. The comedian, who has more than 58 million Instagram followers, clearly has an abundance of Brazilian supporters in the house, watching him enter sporting multicoloured hair and accompanied by a rapper.

Watford-born King Kenny is draped in what looks like yellow and green robes. Kidology or a genuine Brazil fan?

10.55 p.m. BST: AnEsonGib beats Jarvis by unanimous decision (49-46,49-46,48-47)

No surprise here – AnEsonGib reaches the finals!

"He's nothing that I didn't know," he says of Jarvis, expressing his confidence that he will win the title by any means necessary against King Kenny or Whindersson Nunes, who are up next. "I trained like I usually do and smoked him. On to the final I go."

Round 5: AnEsonGib vs. Jarvis

You could admire AnEsonGib's ringcraft or Jarvis' durability, here. The man ahead on points pummels his target's body with a right, then sends a left hook upstairs.

Jarvis, true to the form of the last three rounds, succeeds with the occasional isolated shot in return but doesn't look close to producing the surprise conclusion he needs. The final bell sounds! The Saudi Arabia-based YouTuber is almost certainly in the final.

TSN unofficial scorecard: AnEsonGib 10-9 Jarvis (50-45)

Round 4: AnEsonGib vs. Jarvis

AnEsonGib cuts the ring off as the distance between the fighters dwindles, finding full flow with combinations to the body and arms.

The best Jarvis can do is land a left hook on the counter but he ends up wobbling the ropes during the final minute of the round and taking a painful-looking left.

Jarvis looks like he still has the knockout he'll now need in him, though.

TSN unofficial scorecard: AnEsonGib 10-9 Jarvis (40-36)

Round 3: AnEsonGib vs. Jarvis

More good work from AnEsonGib, landing with a right and a body shot before retreating with a distance-defining jab in familiar style.

An overhand right thuds against the left side of Jarvis' head, but the recipient continues to plod forward in spite of receiving some eye-catching punishment.

AnEsonGib follows up another overhand right with a left hook, a shot he uses again as the final 30 seconds of the round approach. It's a dominant round for him, but Jarvis fires back, takes the centre of the ring and lands with a vicious right. It's a little late to win him the round.

TSN unofficial scorecard: AnEsonGib 10-9 Jarvis (30-27)

Round 2: AnEsonGib vs. Jarvis

AnEsonGib carries on where he left off at the end of the first round, this time keeping Jarvis at bay with his jab and connecting with a right to the body as he takes the front foot and sets the pace, although that shot does not unduly bother his target.

Jarvis tries to respond by walking him down and fires in a left hook when he moves in close. Neither man dominates and the duo clash shoulders as the round ends.

TSN unofficial scorecard: AnEsonGib 10-9 Jarvis (20-18)

Round 1: AnEsonGib vs. Jarvis

The men's semifinal between AnEsonGib and Jarvis starts with Jarvis trying to land with big shots, particularly a right. Both are told to step apart under a minute through a frantic opening,

Jarvis keeps his feet planted and tests the range of his jab, then AnEsonGib attempts a fizzing overhand as two minutes pass.

The fighters end in a corner, AnEsonGib working combinations behind his jab and winging in a few hooks, which probably nick him the round. Guns N' Roses' Welcome To The Jungle plays as the fighters sit on their stools.

TSN unofficial scorecard: AnEsonGib 10-9 Jarvis (10-9)

10.25 p.m. BST: The music fires up for Jarvis to make his way to the stage for the co-main event. He slaps his gloves together as he exchanges a few high-fives with the crowd on his way through.

Livin’ on a Prayer by Bon Jovi is his ringwalk song.

10.10 p.m. BST: Kiefer Crosbie beats Aaron Chalmers on points! The MMA fighter and complete boxing newcomer does what Floyd Mayweather didn't and sends Chalmers to the canvas midway through a contest in which the star of reality show Geordie Shore showed a lack of conviction with his punches and positioning.

"There's not a man alive who's going to come to my country and beat me in any kind of fight," vows Irishman Crosbie, adding that the disciplines he would inevitably find victory in include thumb wars. "I'll find a way to win.

"I was loading up a little bit much. My coach, Jimmy, is probably going to give me a slap for that. But all these beautiful people here wanted to see me go to f****** war, and I went to war.

"Big respect to Aaron Chalmers. I loved Geordie Shore. He's a gentleman and a tough boxer."

Asked about taking on boxers, Crosbie calls out Tommy Fury with expletives. "In a real fight, I'd kill them all," he warns. "If any of these boxers want to come to my sport, I'll take them all."

9.50 p.m. BST: Time for Kiefer Crosbie vs. Aaron Chalmers. If you aren't familiar with Newcastle's Chalmers from reality TV, you might remember him as the ex-MMA fighter who went the distance with Floyd Mayweather in an exhibition in February.

9.35 p.m. BST: 6AR6IE6 beats Emily Brooke by decision! Not a good night for the Brooke family in the ring as the considerably smaller fighter is conclusively beaten.

Like her sister in the previous fight, Brooke showed her ability to take a shot but was less successful at launching attacks of her own.

"Lots of sparring," says the self-critical, black makeup-splattered 6AR6IE6 when she's asked about the key to victory. "I definitely want to be better next time. It's a relief. I'm glad I lived up to some of your expectations and I'll do better next time."

She will meet Jully Poca, who beat Elle Brooke, in the finals. The pair have a faux-stern face-off in the ring, then embrace. At least both fighters will be facing an opponent their own size in that one.

9.15 p.m. BST: Elle Brooke's sister, Emily, is up next.

9 p.m. BST: Jully Poca beats Elle Brooke by decision to become the first High Stakes finalist!

That was an eventful fight from the off, when Poca put Brooke down instantly – but it's not clear, even though it looked legitimate, whether that was scored as a knockdown because Poca pushed Brooke as she rushed in.

Brooke, who suffers her first defeat in her fourth fight, showed significant heart, repeatedly taking shots - including clashes of heads - as she tried to close that four-inch reach gap.

Poca was finding life easy when Brooke stayed long, but suffered a bloodied nose as her adversary enjoyed some success while losing rounds.

Poca speaks through tears as she drapes herself in the Brazilian flag. "I just want to thank all those here, even my haters," she says. "Only those who know me know what I've been through."

Satisfaction by Benny Benassi Presents the Biz rang out at the end – and the crowd were satisfied with that one, showing plenty of support for both brawlers.

8.40 p.m. BST: A clash between two women in the winners bracket. Jully Poca makes her way to the ring with a relatively modest level of fanfare compared with Elle Brooke, who takes an age to reach the ring as she gees up the crowd to the sound of 'Wonderwall' by Oasis.

Social media sensation Brooke is clearly keen to endear herself to locals, choosing to adorn herself with the Irish national colours. The Portsmouth fighter is introduced as the number one pound-for-pound influencer boxer, while Poca grins and raises her hand as she is heralded "the Brazilian superstar". Poca has a four-inch height and reach advantage.

Here are some snaps from Brooke's weigh-in.

8.30 p.m. BST: Cian Cowley beats Connor Tierney on points! That was as much of a tear-up as you'd expect between an MMA fighter and a bare knuckle brawler, the pair finishing the fight tangled on the ropes.

Irish music blared out before the verdict and Cowley thanks two-time UFC champion Conor McGregor, whose Crumlin Boxing Club he trained at and also praises, for his sponsorship of him.

"This isn't my sport but I handled a boxer well enough," says Cowley before making his way off to the soundtrack of 'Breathe' by The Prodigy. "I'm delighted to have done the Irish proud, as always. We have some of the best fighters in the world."

8.10 p.m. BST: Here come Cian Cowley and Connor Tierney! Cowley is more experienced as an MMA fighter, while Tierney is a bare knuckle fighter.

As you might expect from their backgrounds, both men look ripped and ready to roll!

8.05 p.m. BST: Daniella Helmsley is ecstatic after winning a ragged five-rounder against Ms Danielka on points! Both fighters were clearly desperate not to sustain a second defeat of the tournament, uncompromisingly locking horns from the off.

Helmsley bounces in the air and screams with delight. The moment gets the better of her as she briefly goes topless to celebrate!

7.45 p.m. BST: Next up, it's Ms Danielka - a Pole with a kickboxing background - against Daniella Helmsley. Danielka, pictured to the left of her opponent below, makes her way to the ring in pink, having what appears to be vaseline applied to her face before vaulting the ropes.

Helmsley enters second, wearing a black outfit.

7.40 p.m. BST: Whitney Johns looks every inch the fitness enthusiast and cover model she is as she takes to the mic looking unblemished following a deserved unanimous decision (50-45) victory over Amber O'Donnell, who offered little back for much of their fight.

"Thank you so much," Johns says in a blink-and-you'll-miss-it interview before offering a hand in a blue surgical glove to the referee. "Thanks for cheering me on. You guys are amazing."

7.20 p.m. BST: A fight in the losers bracket begins between Amber O'Donnell, in green, white and red trunks with cornrows, and Whitney Johns.

O'Donnell has much the better of the opening round, leaving Johns with bruising around her eyes as she stands for the second stanza.

7 p.m. BST: There's a defeat for Dublin fighter Declan Kenna in the second prelim of the evening, losing on points after a close bout with British opponent Goldn Boyz!

6.30 p.m. BST: There's been an early finish in our first prelim fight here: Irish boxer and TikTok star Ben Williams whipped in some heavy shots to take out countryman and comedian Black Paddy in the first round in a wildcard fight.

The DAZN commentary team seemed a little bemused by how quick that fight was. The contestants shared a hug in a corner afterwards.

6 p.m. BST: Jully Poca and Elle Brooke will meet tonight in the winners bracket. Poca beat Daniella Hemsley in the quarterfinals, while Brooke extended her perfect record by winning her third fight on that occasion, defeating Aleksandra Daniel. Here's how the pair looked when they faced off.

5.30 p.m. BST: "We're getting ready for my fight," said King Kenny this afternoon, posing with a full pint of Guinness that had been wisely unsupped from. "It's going to be light work."

Here's how the prankster, who has won three and lost two of his bouts so far, looked alongside his opponent at the weigh-in.
