Arsenal find themselves back competing for European glory after missing out on a continental place for the 2021/22 campaign.
Last season marked the first Premier League season with no European action for the Gunners since 1995 with their Champions League absence now stretched to a fifth season.
A dramatic late stumble allowed rivals Tottenham the chance to steal in a claim fourth spot in the league ahead of Mikel Arteta's side in May.
The Spanish boss has strengthened his squad, in both talent and experience over the summer, with Brazilian international Gabriel Jesus hitting the ground running at the Emirates Stadium and he'll be hoping his side enjoy a decent run in the Europa League this term.

When is the 2022/23 Europa League draw?
The 2022/23 UEFA Europa League group stage draw will take place at 12pm BST / 7am ET August 26, 2022.
How does the 2022/23 Europa League draw work?
Each round of the Europa League involves a draw to confirm a team's opponent and potential path in the competition.
For preliminary rounds, seeding is based on UEFA club coefficients, splitting teams into seeded and unseeded categories, to determine pairings.
For the group stages, teams are divided into four pots to create eight groups of four teams, with one team selected from each pot to complete each group.
Ahead of the group stages, Arsenal have been confirmed as seeded in Pot 1, amongst the teams with the highest UEFA coefficients.
Arsenal's dream group in the 2022/23 Europa League
As a seeded team in Pot 1, Arsenal will avoid the other seven teams inside the top eight highest coefficients in the final 32 entrants, ahead of the draw.
They will not be placed into a group alongside Manchester United (also in Pot 1) due to UEFA rules on clubs from the same national association playing the same group.
Based on confirmed (league path) qualifiers, the best case scenario for Arsenal (based on current UEFA coefficient points) would be a group including FC Midtjylland, Nantes and tournament debutants Union Saint-Gilloise.
However, that picture could change based on the Europa League/Champions League play off results, but they cannot face the winners of either Rangers vs. PSV or Dynamo Kyiv.
Arsenal's nightmare group in the 2022/23 Europa League
Pot 1 guards Arsenal from facing another similarly ranked side in the group stage draw but Arteta could still face a real challenge if they are handed a tough group.
AS Monaco and Real Sociedad are the current highest ranked Pot 2 sides, who could be paired with Arsenal, with the former famously dumping them out of the Champions League back in 2015.
Pot 3 and 4 could also present problems, with Bundesliga sides SC Freiburg and Union Berlin included alongside Sturm Graz.
The Sporting News will update the dream and nightmare groups once the final pots have been confirmed following the conclusion of Thursday's playoff matches.
