Jose Mourinho is just one game away from leading Roma to European glory in back-to-back seasons.
The Italian side won the inaugural Europa Conference League last season and will now face Sevilla in the Europa League final on May 31. This will not be an easy task as no side has won the competition more often than their Spanish counterparts.
Mourinho, however, has never lost a European final. Along with last season's Europa Conference League, the Portuguese coach has won the Champions League and Europa League twice each in his storied career. He is 5-0 in major continental finals.
It remains to be seen whether he will stay at Roma beyond this latest showpiece fixture, with some speculation linking him with a departure from the Italian capital, perhaps to Paris Saint-Germain.

When does Jose Mourinho contract end at AS Roma?
This is Mourinho's second stint in Italy. He was previously head coach of Inter Milan from 2008 to 2010, winning the Champions League in his final match in charge as part of an historic treble.
His contract at Roma is set to expire on June 30, 2024, so at the end of next season. There are rumours of a potential extension, and winning the Europa League final would certainly accelerate those talks.
According to La Repubblica, the club have already reached out to Mourinho's team about a possible extension. 'The Special One' is also said to be open to staying longer in the Italian capital, although speculation persists that he could move on this year.

Jose Mourinho Roma salary, wages
Mourinho joined Roma in July 2021 as he replaced Paulo Fonseca ahead of the new season. It was his first job after being let go by Tottenham, the only club with whom he failed to win a trophy.
The 60-year-old reportedly took a big pay cut to join Roma compared to his salary in the Premier League. He is said to earn around $12.2 million (£8.8m)* per year before tax with the Conference League champions, some $8m less than he was paid at Tottenham.
It is likely that if Roma decide to offer Mourinho a new deal, they will also increase his pay due to their European success.
