Cristiano Ronaldo's second spell at Manchester United was far from a success.
The Portugal star forced his way out of Old Trafford prior to the 2022 World Cup after falling out with manager Erik ten Hag.
It had been a lacklustre return for the former Red Devil as he struggled to gel with a team that has found its feet again in his exit.
United are in fact chasing European silverware this season in the Europa League and it's a title Ronaldo could well get his hands on despite no longer being at the club.

Would Ronaldo get a Europa League winners medal?
Prior to his exit from Manchester United, Ronaldo featured six times in their Europa League campaign and scored twice.
While that involvement doesn't technically guarantee him a winners medal should the Red Devils triumph, it's likely he would be sent one.
The decision ultimately rests with United themselves but based on UEFA's rules and procedures, Ronaldo would be pretty stiff to not get a medal.
Though not exactly a trophy he's been chasing, the Europa League is one of few competitions he's yet to win.
Ronaldo has notably spent most of his career playing in the Champions League and won that tournament five times.

Europa League winners medal rules
UEFA haven't set out any strict rules when it comes to how winners medals are distributed.
They do, however, stress that successful clubs will only get 40 medals and no more.
This means teams are given the power to distribute them accordingly to players and staff with those not present at the time of the final less likely to receive a medal.
FA Cup winners medal rules
The FA Cup follows an identical format to UEFA with winning clubs handed 40 medals to distribute.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp appealed for more medals when the Reds won the FA Cup in 2022 but it's unclear if he ever got his wish.
"Dear FA, please send some more medals. Everybody has his part - we had the discussion, maybe we can order here publicly more medals," Klopp said at the time.
"I cannot believe that the amount of medals is restricted, why would you do that? We realised we want to give medals to all the players and they say then coaches cannot have it - what?
"It's really a bit tough. It's a not a good idea - the squads are getting bigger but the numbers stay the same."

Carabao Cup winners medal rules
The Carabao Cup offers up even fewer winners medals with only 30 initially handed out to victorious clubs.
However, unlike UEFA, there is a chance for clubs to request more medals at their own expense.
EFL rule 20.2 on the awarding of medals states: "In addition to the Cup, the Management Committee shall present thirty souvenirs to the winning Club in the Final Tie; and thirty souvenirs to the losing Club in the Final Tie. Additional souvenirs may be presented with the consent of the Management Committee but shall be at the cost of the requesting Club."
It's not clear if Ronaldo was awarded a medal following United's triumph over Newcastle in the final at Wembley. Unlike the Europa League, the Portuguese star did not feature in any of their Carabao Cup matches this season.
