Former Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez has hailed Arne Slot's start to life as Reds boss ahead of their crunch Premier League battle with Arsenal.
Benitez led the Reds to their iconic title in the 2005 UEFA Champions League as part of an epic chapter in the club's history.
Liverpool have adapted positively to another change of manager this summer, as Jurgen Klopp stepped down from his role at Anfield, with Slot drafted in.
The Dutch coach has built on Klopp's positive momentum with Liverpool back in the Premier League title conversation up against Manchester City and Arsenal.
Benitez's decades of experience managing teams across Europe has given the Spanish boss a depth of knowledge on securing results and trophies at the highest level.
The 64-year-old agrees with Slot's strategy of waiting until further into the season to judge his progress, and his team's overall standing, and Benitez claims there is still work to be done in the months ahead.
"Liverpool have started the season well, they can see they can win every game - which will be an extra motivation for them with some difficult fixtures ahead, starting against Arsenal", he told an exclusive interview with BBC Sport.
"There are other things for everyone to learn about each other, that becomes important at the end of the season, if you want to win things.
"I'm talking about character, the ability to deal with adversity and come through it, that gives you belief you can do it again.
"We don't know yet how this Liverpool side will react to adversity under Slot, but I've been impressed by what I've seen so far."
Liverpool face a busy schedule ahead of the November international break with four games split across domestic and European action.
The Reds head to Brighton & Hove Albion in the EFL Cup on October 30, before hosting the Seagulls in league action three days later, followed by home clashes with Bayer Leverkusen and Aston Villa.
