Chelsea responded positively to their Premier League defeat at Liverpool last weekend to ease over the line to a 2-1 home win over Newcastle United.
Victory against the Magpies is a crucial boost for Enzo Maresca and his players as they remain unbeaten at home since the opening weekend of the campaign.
Progress continues at Stamford Bridge, with England star Cole Palmer once again central to the Blues positivity, with his winning goal against Newcastle bringing him up to seven EPL goals so far in 2024/25.

Palmer's rise continues on the back of scoring a sensational 22 league goals in his debut season at Chelsea in 2023/24.
The 22-year-old continues to draw comparisons with Premier League legends, including at full time with Gianfranco Zola, but the England international wants to remain grounded and keep showing his best form.
"I try to not put pressure on myself. Many people on the outside try to put pressure on me to replicate what I did last season in terms of numbers. It's my second season playing football here and I'm still very, very young", he said at full time.
"We just try to play our own game, block out the noise out from the outside. We don't mind proving people wrong."
Up next for Palmer and Chelsea is a midweek trip to face Newcastle - in an odd fixture double - as they head to St. James' Park in EFL Cup action.
Palmer could be rested for the trip to Tyneside ahead of a Premier League clash at Manchester United on November 3.
