After a Week 3 college football slate that left much to be desired, Week 4 is here to save fans with several must-see matchups.

There will be four top-25 matchups this week, kicking off with a Big Ten showdown between No. 24 Illinois and No. 22 Nebraska on Friday night. The action rolls into Saturday, where several ranked teams will put their undefeated records on the line.

No. 11 USC will head to The Big House to take on No. 18 Michigan in a game that certainly passes "College GameDay" qualifications. No. 12 Utah will take on No. 14 Oklahoma State in a matchup between two 3-0 Big 12 teams.

The ESPN crew will not be headed to Ann Arbor or Stillwater, though.

Where is 'College GameDay' location for Week 4?

  • Location: Norman, Oklahoma
  • Time: 9 a.m. ET to noon
  • Matchup: No. 15 Oklahoma vs. No. 6 Tennessee

"College GameDay" will be held in Norman, Oklahoma, ahead of the No. 15 Sooners' massive SEC meeting with No. 6 Tennessee.

This will be the 41st time that Oklahoma has hosted the show and the first time since 2020. Only Ohio State (59), Alabama (58) and Florida (41) have hosted "College GameDay" more times than the Sooners.

Oklahoma has an impressive 27-13 record when featured on the show, but it enters this contest as home underdogs against the surging Volunteers.

The Sooners are off to a strong 3-0 start in their first season as members of the SEC, taking care of business against non-conference opponents Temple, Houston and Tulane. Their SEC game will put them to the test, going up against a 3-0 Tennessee team that destroyed No. 24 NC State by 41 points in Week 2.

Who is the guest picker on 'College GameDay' for Week 4?

Country music artist Blake Shelton will be the "College GameDay" guest picker in Week 4.

Shelton grew up in Ada, Oklahoma, about 70 miles southeast of Norman, where he lived until moving to Nashville at 17 to pursue his singing career. Though it may be frowned upon by the state's general population, he has admitted he's always pulled for "all three of the teams," meaning Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Tulsa.

In the same interview with Country Living, the former "The Voice" coach also said, "I don't know s--t about all these teams he's gonna ask me about...You guys are desperate if you need me to come on and make the picks. I'm honored, though. Trust me, I'm honored to do it."

Catch Shelton on OU's campus this morning on "College GameDay."
