Hell in a Cell 2017: Sami Zayn saves Kevin Owens, Shane McMahon jumps off Hell in a Cell again image

Fans were left stunned in the final moments of the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view on Sunday night, as Kevin Owens was aided in defeating Shane McMahon by none other than Sami Zayn.

Late in the match, McMahon bounced Owens' head off the Cell wall as he was trying to climb down, causing the former WWE Universal Champion to crash through a table 10 feet below.

But McMahon wasn't done. He dragged Owens to another announcer's table and climbed to the roof of the cell. Shane jumped off from the edge in an attempt to hit Owens with a diving splash, but Owens was pulled off at the last second by a hooded figure. It turned out to be Zayn, who had been feuding with Owens ever since the two were in NXT toghether back in 2014.

EMTs ran out to check on McMahon, but Zayn pushed them away and dragged Owens on top of McMahon. Since the rules were changed to make this a "Falls Count Anywhere" match, the referee was forced to count the pinfall.

Owens was helped to the back, while McMahon was carried out on a stretcher. Thankfully he threw the thumbs up before the show ended.
