The 2024 WNBA regular season was replete with legendary performances and broken records.

Among the record breakers was A'ja Wilson, who broke both the league's single-season scoring and rebounding records, and Caitlin Clark, who broke the WNBA's single-season assists record as a rookie.

For her efforts, Wilson was named Most Valuable Player by a unanimous vote. Clark found herself seeking a similar bit of recognition in her race for the Rookie of the Year award.

Clark hoisted the top prize for WNBA newcomers Thursday afternoon, receiving the Rookie of the Year award with relative ease. Was it a consensus selection? The Sporting News gives you the breakdown on 2024 Rookie of the Year voting.

Is Caitlin Clark the unanimous WNBA Rookie of the Year?

Clark took home her first piece of WNBA hardware, taking home 2024 Rookie of the Year honors. But the 22-year-old Indiana Fever guard wasn't able to earn the added recognition of being named a unanimous choice for the prize.

Clark received 66 of 67 votes. Chicago Sky star Angel Reese took home a single vote, as well, striking Clark's chances of joining Fever teammate Aliyah Boston as one of few unanimous ROY winners in the process.

Reese turned in a historic campaign of her own in 2024, leading the league in rebounds per game and breaking the rookie record for double-doubles. In addition to her ROY vote, Reese also earned one fourth-place MVP vote.

Clark and Reese were the only two rookies to earn consideration for the 2024 MVP.

WNBA Most Valuable Player and Rookie of the Year are voted on by the same panel of 67 voters, meaning the voter who gave Reese a fourth-place MVP vote could also have given the Chicago standout a Rookie of the Year vote.

Clark finished fourth in MVP voting, while Reese finished 12th. Here is a voting breakdown for both awards.
