Caitlin Clark's rookie season with the Indiana Fever was one for the record books.

After rewriting history throughout her four-year career at Iowa, Clark did more of the same at the professional level, averaging 19.2 points, 5.7 rebounds and a league-leading 8.4 assists over 40 games. After turning in a historic campaign, Clark ended the 2024 season as the presumptive favorite to take home Rookie of the Year honors.

Did Caitlin Clark win Rookie of the Year?

Clark is the WNBA's Rookie of the Year for the 2024 season, the league announced Thursday afternoon.

In 2024, Clark led the league in assists per game, broke the single-season record for total assists and led all rookies in points per game. Her efforts helped lead Indiana to a 20-20 record, ending an eight-year postseason drought.

Just one other candidate received a vote for the award. Clark garnered 66 of a possible 67 votes, while Chicago Sky rookie Reese received the one other vote.
