Matchday two of the Champions League began on Wednesday morning with a goalfest, as 32 goals were scored across nine matches.

Some of the big guns, including Arsenal, Man City, and Barcelona were in action, with all looking to recover from frustrating draws or defeats in the opening round of games.

There were some massive wins for teams all over the continent, with one of those teams sitting temporarily on top of the tree.

Borussia Dortmund have replaced German rivals Bayern Munich at the top of the league phase of the Champions League.

The Black and Yellows equalled their biggest win in Champions League history over Scottish champions Celtic, leading 5-1 at half time and eventually winning 7-1 at home.

There are two teams level on points with them: fellow German side Bayer Leverkusen and, more surprisingly, French debutants Brest.

Arsenal and Man City's wins over PSG and Slovan Bratislava respectively lifted them to four points each and into the top eight, with PSG falling to 18th after their disappointing defeat.

Four teams have no points after two games, with Red Star Belgrade, Salzburg, Slovan Bratislava and Young Boys all having a tough start to the Champions League season.
