NRL Judiciary Round 23: Dragons Kyle Flanagan referred straight to judiciary after alleged bite image

Dragons half Kyle Flanagan has been referred straight to the NRL judiciary for his alleged bite on Bulldogs captain Stephen Crichton.

Crichton made an official complaint after his sides 28-10 win over the Dragons in Kogarah on Saturday.

Penrith star Liam Martin has been hit with a ban for an incident involving Eels halfback Daejarn Asi, while Titans player Moeaki Fotuaika will also spend time on the sidelines for a brutal shot.

Kyle Flanagan going straight to judiciary for alleged bite

Flanagan could be facing a lengthy ban after his alleged bite on Crichton during the second half of his side's defeat to the Bulldogs.

The incident occurred when the players were involved in a tackle and Crichton having his face pressed close to Flanagan's, after the incident, Crichton was pictured with blood coming from his nose.

Flanagan was hit with a Dangerous Contact charge and will face the judiciary on Tuesday after pleading not guilty.

Liam Martin banned for dangerous contact

Martin will miss the top-of-the-table clash against the Melbourne Storm after smashing into the kicking leg of Asi in the second half.

The second rower was immediately apologetic for the incident but was sent to the sin bin by referee Peter Gough.

Mo Fotuaika gets a week holiday for high tackle

Fotuaika copped a one week suspension for a careless high tackle on Cronulla's Cameron McInnes.

The Gold Coast forward was also sent to the sin bin for the incident.
