The Gold Coast Titans are a team loaded with young talent, and they look set to bolster their stables, with the addition of two rising stars right out of their own development program.

Announced by the Titans today, two of their brightest young talents will be elevated to full-time development players next season, with the team eager to bring in future star halfback Zane Harrison, as well as promising outside back Sam Stephenson.

With a collection of rising stars including player-of-the-year winner Keano Kini, the Titans' future looks incredibly promising if the two latest signings can deliver as promised.

It was a tough year of footy on the Gold Coast, but help could be on the way, with play making prodigy Zane Harrison elevated to the Titans squad.

Harrison, alongside Palm Beach Currumbin State High School teammate Stepehenson, recently claimed the National Schoolboy Cup, and the Titans will now bring them on in hopes of continuing their success.

"Both Sam and Zane are impressive young talents and it's great to see them progress from our Future Titans program to the NRL squad," Titans GM Anthony Laffranchi said.

"They both got a taste of a NRL pre-season last year as pathways products and didn't disappoint - the pair having their train-and-trial deals extended into the new year, before going on to have exemplary seasons at both club and schoolboy level.

"We're really looking forward to welcoming the duo to our squad when we begin pre-season preparations in November."

The Titans finished in 14th position in 2024, winning just eight of their 24 games in a season marred by injury and roster uncertainty.
