Arsenal faced their first big test of the season over the weekend, coming away with a 2-2 draw against Manchester City.

The Gunners left the Etihad Stadium with just a point after conceding a disappointing 98th-minute equaliser from John Stones, playing the entire second half with just 10 men after Leandro Trossard was sent off just before the break.

After Erling Haaland opened the scoring, new Arsenal signing Riccardo Calafiori equalised with a stunning strike, before Gabriel headed home off a corner to put the Gunners in front.

Saka, who was captain on the day in the absence of the injured Martin Odegaard had a quiet first half, however, just before half-time he left his imprint on the game, whipping in the corner for Gabriels' goal.

With Trossard sent off shortly after, Saka was substituted for Ben White as manager Mikel Arteta opted for a defensive setup for the second half, but the 23-year-old winger left the pitch with his name in the record books.

His assist for Gabriel's goal marked his fifth consecutive Premier League game with an assist this season, having created goals against Wolves, Aston Villa, Brighton and Tottenham, making him just the second player in Premier League history to achieve the feat, joining Arsenal icon Thierry Henry.

Henry achieved the feat in the 2004-05 season, with assists against Everton, Middlesbrough, Blackburn, Norwich City, and Fulham.

Saka continues to improve with each season for Arsenal and has already amassed 59 goals and 58 assists in 232 appearances for his boyhood club.
