Quarterbacking has rarely looked as shoddy as it has across the past few weeks of the NFL season.

Josh Allen gave football fans a reprieve on Monday night.

The Bills star captivated the masses with a stunning showcase against the Jaguars, piling up the yards and touchdowns as Buffalo (3-0) vanquished its AFC foes, 47-10.

Jacksonville (0-3) couldn't lay a glove on the two-time Pro Bowler, who torched Doug Pederson's defense to the tune of 23-of-28 passing, 263 yards, four touchdowns, and zero interceptions. It was just the sort of showing Allen has become increasingly used to this season; he sits as the undoubted frontrunner for league MVP through three games, tallying eight total touchdowns and just one turnover thus far — a lost fumble, at that.

Allen wasn't the only figure to capture the public's glare on Monday, though. So, too, did Buffalo safety Damar Hamlin, who plucked an errant Lawrence effort out of the sky. With his snag, Hamlin secured his first career interception. The fact that it happened on "Monday Night Football," the same program he was on when he collapsed during the 2022 season, made the moment that much sweeter.

All told, it was a perfect night at the office for the Bills, who stayed the course and kept pace with the Chiefs with a decisive victory over their lowly AFC South adversary. Things remain volatile as ever after the first three weeks of the season, but if this opening period is anything to go by, Buffalo could find itself bumping shoulders with the league's best come the end of the year.

10:11 p.m.: Allen exits the game to warm applause. He'll be replaced by Mitch Trubisky for the final 10 minutes of tonight's game. Allen's final line: 23-of-30 passing, 263 yards, four touchdowns and zero interceptions.

10:09 p.m.: Yet another Jaguars effort goes wanting. Lawrence's pass falls short, bringing Jacksonville's drive to a close. With 10 minutes left, this one might be finished.

9:52 p.m.: TURNOVER ON DOWNS! Buffalo holds, with Miller bursting through the trenches to pull Lawrence down to the turf on fourth-and-goal. Buffalo has the ball! It's likely got the win, as well.

End of third quarter: Bills 37, Jaguars 10

9:41 p.m.: The Jaguars are slowly but surely advancing down the field. Nabbed yet another first down on fourth-and-short. They'll need points and quickly to give themselves a shot.

9:36 p.m.: Buffalo adds to its lead courtesy of a Tyler Bass field goal from short range.

9:23 p.m.: TOUCHDOWN! Lawrence finds his touch in the red zone, flicking a pass to Brenton Strange from 10 yards out. Seven points down, 24 to go.

9:19 p.m.: The Jaguars will attempt to mount their comeback in the second half. They'll start with the ball here, so you never know...

8:55 p.m.: TOUCHDOWN! Allen adds another to his coffers, connecting with Ty Johnson for a 16-yard score. His stat line up to now: 22-of-27 passing for 247 yards and four touchdowns. Doesn't get much better than that.

8:45 p.m.: TOUCHDOWN! The Bills find pay dirt once more, with Allen sending a 27-yard  shot to Shakir. The rout is one at Highmark Stadium.

8:34 p.m.: INTERCEPTION! It's Damar Hamlin with the grab! Lawrence airmailed a wide open Thomas, instead finding Hamlin's waiting grasp. It's his first career interception. And it's on Monday Night Football. What a moment.

8:32 p.m.: The Jags convert another desperation fourth down. Lawrence sneaks through the trenches for the first on fourth-and-one.

8:27 p.m.: TOUCHDOWN! Keon Coleman gets in on the action! The rookie wideout raced beyond the defense before hauling a delicate Allen effort for the 24-yard score. Coleman had to wait until the second quarter to get his first few snaps. He made them count, pushing the Bills out to a 17-point lead.

8:25 p.m.: Buffalo looks poised to find pay dirt once more. Allen races past the front seven, moving the chains with aplomb. The Bills are on the cusp of the red zone.

8:17 p.m.: FIELD GOAL! Jacksonville's drive sputtered once it hit the red zone, felled by a penalty. The Jags will have to settle for a field goal to open their scoring.

8:15 p.m.: Another solid throw from Lawrence, who moves the chains once more on third down, this time finding Kirk in the open. The Jaguars are starting to find a bit of a rhythm on the offensive side of the ball.

8:11 p.m.: Lawrence appears to have found a safety blanket in Brian Thomas Jr.; first, he moved the chains by hitting the rookie wideout on an out route on third down. He followed it up with another throw along the sideline to move Jacksonville deeper into Bills territory.

End of first quarter: Bills 13, Jaguars 0

8:05 p.m.: Jacksonville already found itself on the brink of collapse, opting to line up on fourth-and-inches with the ball firmly entrenched in its territory. Doug Pederson's aggressiveness worked a dream there; Etienne burst through the mire, getting just enough yardage to set up four new downs.

8:00 p.m.: TOUCHDOWN! Buffalo adds to its lead courtesy of some Allen magic! The Wyoming alum jinks right then left before firing a dart to Kincaid in the corner of the end zone. Jacksonville is already behind the eight-ball here.

7:56 p.m.: Buffalo secures another fourth down try, setting itself for a first-and-goal chance. Jacksonville just can’t lay a glove on Allen and Co. thus far.

7:53 p.m.: Another solid throw by Allen, who hits tight end Dalton Kincaid for a 28-yard gain. The Bills have breached the red zone…again.

7:48 p.m.: Jaguars' first possession of the game ends with a three-and-out. They gained a single yard on the drive. The ball is headed back to Buffalo.

7:41 p.m.: TOUCHDOWN! Cook trots into the end zone from seven yards out, capping off an impressive 70-yard drive with a flourish. Special mention goes to Mack Hollins, who secured the edge with a crunching block to set Cook free.

The subsequent PAT went awry. But Buffalo’s offense looks to have not skipped a beat.

7:33 p.m.: The screen play fools the Jags; Allen floats a pass to Khalil Shakir, who shakes loose for a big gain on fourth and short.

7:32 p.m.: The first play of the game is a fruitful one for Buffalo, with Allen firing a dot to Cook, who scurries down the sideline for a 19-yard gain.

7:31 p.m.: And we’re off! Bills will start the game with the ball in their hands.

7:20 p.m.: Precarious times for Lawrence and the Jaguars. His last seven starts have all ended in defeat. And historically, an 0-3 start precludes playoff qualification. He needs a win tonight. Badly.

7:15 p.m.: Kickoff is on the horizon at Highmark Stadium. Will the Bills keep their unbeaten start alive or can the Jags break the slide and capture their first win of the season?

7:05 p.m.: It will be interesting to see what Joe Brady’s game plan is for tonight’s duel. Against Miami, the Bills opted for the short game, relying on star tailback James Cook to push the team forward. Will Brady resort to similar tactics against the Jags?

6:45 p.m.: Count Josh Allen as one of Vince Carter's many fans. The Bills QB gave the Raptors icon a hug before tonight's contest. A great many Toronto natives of a certain generation would've done the same.

6:40 p.m.: Hometown hero "Buffalo Joe" Andreesen will make his big-league debut tonight. The Lancaster, New York, native, who starred at Bryant and University of Buffalo,  impressed in rookie minicamp and preseason, earning a spot on the 53-man roster despite going undrafted. With Bernard out, he could very well see some opportunities in the middle of the Bills' defense.

6:30 p.m.: A pair of Basketball Hall of Famers are in the building for tonight's clash — former Raptors stars (and cousins!) Vince Carter and Tracy McGrady are decked in Bills blue and set to watch on as the festivities unfold. They'll be joined by American soccer icon Jozy Altidore, as well.

6:10 p.m.: Here's a look the inactive for tonight's game. Evan Engram will miss out the action after suffering a hamstring injury, while the Bills will be without starting linebacker Terrell Bernard, among others.
