Max Verstappen is continuing his stellar 2024 season with yet another win.

The 26-year-old entered the weekend having won five of the eight Formula 1 races this season, and he took home his sixth title in nine tries on Sunday at the Canadian Grand Prix.

His victory keeps him comfortably on top of the leaderboard ahead of the Spanish Grand Prix on June 23. Verstappen also won his third straight Canadian Grand Prix, completing the three-peat.

The Sporting News details the Canadian Grand Prix results, as well as the driver and constructor standings below.

Who won the Canadian Grand Prix?

Verstappen won the Canadian Grand Prix with a time of 1:45:47.927 in 70 laps. This is the Red Bull driver's sixth win of the 2024 campaign and 60th overall.

Verstappen beat out second-place finisher Lando Norris by 3.879 seconds and third-place finisher George Russell by 4.317 seconds. The win keeps Red Bull and Verstappen atop the leaderboards heading into the Spanish Grand Prix on June 23.

The difference between first and second on the standings is 56 points, so Verstappen can likely hold his lead even if he doesn't score at the next two races. He's comfortably cruising through competition again this year.

Of the three races he didn't win, he finished second, sixth, and didn't compete.
