Rhiannon Dixon and Terri Harper highlight a stacked women's boxing fight weekend when the former defends the WBO lightweight title. The fight and undercard action will air on DAZN worldwide.

Dixon (10-0) is a former Commonwealth and European lightweight champion. The Cheshire-born fighter then fulfilled a dream by defeating Karen Elizabeth Carabajal to win the WBO world title in April.

Harper (14-2-2) won the WBC super featherweight title in 2020, losing the belt a year later after Alycia Baumgardner knocked her out while standing. She has since gone 3-1-1, claiming the WBA super welterweight title by outpointing Hannah Ranking before drawing against the legendary Cecilia Braekhus and losing to Sandy Ryan via TKO.

"Belter" feels much more in charge at 135, implementing a new diet to help her feel comfortable. Now, the opportunity to hold more gold again at a more natural weight is what drives her.

"There were times after the Sandy Ryan fight I was thinking, 'Where do I go from here? Have I done everything that I can do in my career? Is it time for me to go find my next adventure?" Harper told Boxing Scene. "But I begged Paul (Durose, amateur coach) to come back out of retirement for me, and as soon as I walked through the gym doors and Paul had taken over my training, I just knew I made the right decision. He's made me hungry for the win, and it's got that fire burning again."

Several local fighters compete on the undercard, while one fighter gets a warmup bout before a massive showdown in November.
